About the direction
The purpose and objectives are to develop new technologies in the field of geophysical and geological–economic assessment of mineral deposits andquality control of mineral raw materials at all stages of exploration and subsequent processing, which include:
- creation of means and systems of geophysical quality control of mineral raw materials at all stages of prospecting and exploration, mining, mining and processing;
- organization of computer control systems for the state of the technological and geological environment of mining production, including autonomous quality control systems for mineral raw materials;
- development of innovative technologies for processing mineral raw materials, including energy, unconventional types and man-made deposits.

In 1997 graduated from Karaganda State Technical University with a degree in «Geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of minerals». He completed full-time postgraduate studies at KarSTU. Since 2003, he has been working at KarSTU as an assistant, senior lecturer at the department «Geophysical methods of prospecting and exploration of MPI».
In 2007 , he defended his PhD thesis on the topic: «Development of methods of nuclear and geophysical quality control of solid fuel».
D.Y.Pak is the author of more than 100 scientific papers and 14 innovative patents.
Diplоma winner of the Republican contest of achievements in the field of invention «Shapagat-2012». The winner of the grant «The best teacher of the university — 2010».
