About the direction
Purpose and objectives –creation of new technologies in the field of development of mineral deposits.
The efficiency and safety of mining operations in the development of mineral deposits is ensured by solving the following tasks:
- studies of physico—mechanical, geometric, deformation, rheological and technological properties of rocks and mineral massifs;
- development of methods for calculating the stress-strain state of a rock mass during mining operations
- development of technological schemes of extraction and optimal parameters of mining operations.

Biography
Ravil Altavovich Musin, born in 1985, graduated from Karaganda Polytechnic Technical University (KarSTU) in 2008 with a degree in Mine and underground construction, was awarded the qualification of “Mining engineer-builder”. After graduation, he worked as a mining foreman at the Angerskaya-Yuzhnaya mine in Berezovsky, Kemerovo region.
From 2011 to 2015, he worked as a researcher at the laboratory of reservoir deposits at the Institute of Problems of Integrated Development of Mineral Resources LLP.
Since 2015, he has been working as a senior lecturer at the RMPI Department. In 2015, he received a master’s degree in mining.
In 2021, he received a PhD degree. Specialist in mining, geomechanics.
He has more than 90 printed scientific works, including 6 monographs, 20 certificates of state registration of the right to an object of copyright.
Conducts active scientific and teaching activities for training personnel in the field of mining.
Major awards and achievements:
1. Awarded with the diploma “Zhas galym”;
2. Holder of the State scientific scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2016.
